A Nancy Meyers Garden Party Wedding
The Herb Lyceum in Groton, MA, is a picturesque garden, with lush greenery, blooming flowers, and timeless charm – perfect for emulating Nancy Meyer’s trademark style. The overall vibe for our wedding is one of laid-back elegance, letting natural beauty shine for an effortlessly chic aesthetic.
Our color palette of soft neutrals lends a serene and romantic ambiance, while pops of vibrant colors add a touch of liveliness. Floral arrangements are carefully crafted to have a "plucked-from-the-garden" feel, featuring a mix of in-season blooms and plenty of greenery spilling out of antique vases.
Dinner is served family-style, promoting a warm and intimate atmosphere where guests can reconnect and celebrate with abandon.
Thoughtful Floral Design & Tablescape Details
As a floral studio focused on seasonality & revelatory moments it was an easy YES to bring this vision to life.
We decked each table in old world white stone compotes filled to the brim with 100% New England grown and farm sourced Campanula, Ranunculus, Goats Beard, Foxglove, & Blueberry branches and sprinkled peaches and lychees in an effortless way underneath.
In between this luscious compotes we filled smaller vessels with Feverfew, Tree Peonies, & Ranunculus alongside small potted plants of curly thyme, lavender & other sweet herbs.
We hired Off Menu Pots to create custom clay taper candle holders (which are now an integral part of our N&V inventory), and we filled them with peach colored tapers which were lit next to smaller glass votive holders in a stunning peach hue as well.
An Elegant Rainy-Day Celebration at The Herb Lyceum
Even the drinks provided by The Herb Lyceum complimented our peachy color palate to bring a beautiful warmth to the greenhouse while the rain pitter pattered outside.

C&N's magical greenhouse celebration at The Herb Lyceum was no exception and whenever I look back on these photos I feel such a sense of pride, delight and joy that we created the dream Nancy Meyer's Garden Party Wedding for C&N, even though it rained the entire day our floral art filled up the greenhouse with so many garden delights that there was truly no other place in the world I would have rather been!
