Altered Sacred States

Welcome to the Purim Party you've been wishing for: An intentional, heart-centric, embodied experience for a select small group. 

The space will be held by Rising Rabbi Ariel Hendelman and sacred space curator Kohenet Naomi Azriel in collaboration with Shefa! 

The essence of Purim is PSYCHADELIC in NATURE and we will be tuning deep into those energies "until we don't know" with meditation, transformative chanting, ecstatic dance and heart-opening Cacao (from Bendichas Manos).

The flow of the evening:

First Stage: Heart - opening rose and vanilla cacao ceremony (attuning to our inner Queen Vashti)

Second Stage: Trance-formative Chant (welcoming the inner Haman parts)

Third Stage: Ecstatic Dance as Embodied Prayer (Hiding and revealing -  opening up to our Queen Esther energies)

Fourth Stage: Surrendering to the Unknown / Great Mystery (Meditation on the illusion of the Haman vs. Mordechai within us and welcoming the blurring of the lines into wholeness.)

(Note: no substances will be part of this ceremony experience and we will not be offering a full Megillah reading)
