5 Table Decor Musts!

When it comes to setting the table, Naomi here at Naomi Azriel Lifestyle Design has a few musts --- read on for secrets and tips to creating a beautiful tabletop experience.
Textural tablecloths - My favorite go-to's are actually vintage scarves layered on each other or really fun velvet fabric (buy a couple yards from the fabric store and just hem the edges!)
Mix + Match glassware - There is nothing quite like dining at a table that feels eclectic and hand sourced. Thrift stores are the best places to find unique and beautiful glassware. When curating a table of mix-match glassware just make sure there is something tying them all together (all amber glass, all ceramic, all wine goblets...etc.)
Fabric Napkins - I know, I know, you don't want to have to wash them...but I have to tell you, it makes ALL the difference for a curated set table look. Invest in a couple sets of nice cotton napkins or as I love to do over here, thrift them or make them yourselves. We promise you, you will not regret it!
Fruit and Spices - Ok, maybe this a 2 for 1, but I truly feel that tables look and feel better when there is an abundance of sensory and olfactory goodies on them. That's just how I feel! Imagine bowls full of citrus with rose petals strewn over them or platters of berries with cinnamon and cardamom! I'm salivating already!
Flowers, you guessed it! - I saved this one for the end since sometimes we just don't have the time, money or capacity to have flowers on our table. I get it, it happens. However, flowers come in many forms and even dried florals in little vintage bottles can make a huge impact on your tablescape. When in doubt sprinkle dried rosebuds that you can buy from the bulk section in health food stores! Flowers just make things better.
