When S&S reach out to us, one of the first things they said was, "We don't want any floral on our tables we just want the greenhouse ceiling to be transformed"
That caught my attention because I love when we can focus floral on one element and make a huge impact, especially when there is a strict floral budget.
Then they said, "Make it weird & wild" and I fell in love instantly.
It definitely helped that S&S were getting married in August because then we can source 100% local blooms from our incredible farmers.
We wrapped wisteria and grape vines along the greenhouse bars and draped four different kinds of amaranthus, lilies, marigolds, and flowering dill over their reception tables.
We hung a vintage birdcage right over where S&S would be sitting, a nod to lovebirds and also my love of nostalgia and unique finds.

A match made in heaven, The Herb Lyceum is a Farm to Table venue that curates the most delicious and delightful meals all with a focus on seasonality located in Groton, MA. Their greenhouse is the most fun to flower-up and if we could only do weddings at this venue, we would. Everyone who works there is truly a gem and it's the most fun to set up with everyone on their team.
Did I mention how delicious the food is?
